Advent 2024 Devotion: December 11

Scripture: Micah 5:2
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”

Devotion: Micah prophesies the birth of a ruler in Bethlehem, pointing to Jesus. Despite its small size, Bethlehem becomes the birthplace of our Savior, showing God's power in humble places.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for coming to us in humility. Help us to see Your work in the small and humble moments of our lives, and to trust in Your sovereign plan. Amen.
