Advent 2024 Devotion: December 8

Scripture: Isaiah 7:13-14
Then he said, “Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also? Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Devotion: The prophecy of the virgin birth and the coming of Immanuel, "God with us," begin to reveal God's plan to dwell among His people through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus to be with us. Help us to experience Your presence and to share the hope of Emmanuel with others. Amen.
